Footgear, a leading South African retail brand, invites unemployed N6 Business Management graduates to apply for its 18-month N6 TVET Internship Programme 2025. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, customer-focused retail environment, helping participants bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace readiness to obtain their National Diploma.
Programme Overview
- Duration: 18 months
- Stipend: R3,000 per month
- Location: Footgear stores across South Africa (specific locations not listed; placement at Footgear’s discretion)
- Objective: Provide practical experience in retail operations, sales, and customer service to prepare interns for a successful career in the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily in-store operations and deliver excellent customer service.
- Gain hands-on experience in sales, product handling, and stock management.
- Participate in store-level business functions and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with mentors and team leaders to develop skills.
- Maintain store presentation standards and meet business/customer needs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Education: Completed N6 Certificate in Business Management from a registered FET/TVET College.
- Documents: Certified copies of N4, N5, and N6 certificates (issued within 3 months) and a certified ID copy (not older than 3 months).
- Skills:
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office: Outlook, Word).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Availability: Must be immediately available and willing to work retail hours (weekends, public holidays, and shifts).
- Additional:
- South African citizen, aged 18–35.
- No prior internship experience required; previous retail/customer service experience is an advantage.
