Purpose of the Role
To enhance the customer shopping experience through efficient store operations, exceptional service at tills, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Assist customers with locating products and inquiries
- Handle customer complaints and queries professionally
- Offer a personalised and friendly shopping experience
Cashiering Duties:
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Manage lay-by purchases and refunds
- Balance tills and report any issues
Merchandising & Stock Management:
- Replenish stock and maintain neat shelves
- Ensure correct pricing and promotional signage
- Assist with housekeeping and cleanliness of the store
Risk Management:
- Tag products to reduce shrinkage
- Participate in regular stock takes
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report concerns
Team and Store Values:

Minimum Requirements
- Customer service-focused mindset
- Fluent in English; other South African languages are a plus
