Studio-88 Group of Companies is currently recruiting Sales Assistants to join their retail teams in multiple provinces across South Africa.
Position: Sales / Shop Assistant
Locations: KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Northern Cape, Free State, and North West
Division: Operations
Reports To: Store Manager
Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant at Studio-88, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily store operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with product selection, processing sales transactions, maintaining store standards, and helping the sales team achieve targets.
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 10, 11, 12, or equivalent
- Previous retail experience, especially in clothing stores, is an advantage
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management
Key Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell products effectively
- Good understanding of fashion products, brands, and trends
- Basic knowledge of visual merchandising
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to build lasting customer relationships
