Job Overview:
TWK Agri is hiring a Workshop Assistant to support the Mechanisation Division with equipment handling, maintenance preparation, and workshop organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintenance tasks and basic equipment repairs
- Load and off-load equipment efficiently and safely
- Clean parts and equipment before servicing
- Organise and store tools and workshop materials
- Conduct stock counts and report discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and orderly workshop and yard
- Ensure waste disposal follows company standards
- Follow all safety procedures
- Be available for overtime and weekend work if needed
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Able to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Good verbal communication
- Reliable, honest, and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Mechanical interest or aptitude is advantageous
