Position: Picker Packer

Job Summary
Starke Ayres is seeking a reliable Picker Packer to join their team. The role involves picking stock accurately according to customer orders, preparing them for dispatch, and ensuring all items meet quality and packaging standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products according to customer orders and move them to the holding area for verification
- Verify correct seed reference numbers; report discrepancies to the Stock Controller
- Inform Stock Controller of any out-of-stock items and wait for instructions
- Ensure picked items are clean, saleable, and meet quality standards including packaging and labelling
- Follow the stock rotation system (FIFO – first in, first out) as instructed
- Pack orders into cardboard containers, label them according to customer requirements, and include necessary documentation
- Assist with bi-annual and ad hoc stock counts as required
- Support colleagues by assisting with tasks once own duties are complete
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work environment at all times
- Adhere to security measures to protect products, assets, and the facility
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
- Warehousing Diploma or Certificate – preferred
- Previous experience as a general worker or in warehousing – essential
