Clover is currently searching for candidates who are keen on receive proper training and knowledge through their prominent Assistant Sales YES Learnership. The Clover Assistant Sales YES Learnership presents an exciting opportunity specifically designed for unemployed South African youth to gain valuable experience in the field of sales. Successful applicants will join Clover’s Sales department in the role of Assistant Sales Representative for Emerging Markets (Masakhane). This 12-month learnership aims to equip participants with hands-on workplace experience, enhancing their employability and practical skills in a professional environment.

The Clover Assistant Sales YES Learnership is currently opening X10 positions.

You will also be required to perform the duties below:

• Complete all scheduled customer recruitment appointments
• Manage the account application process through to finalization
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to build a consistent buying customer base within the General Trade (GT) channel
• Present Clover’s offerings within the GT channel to meet customer needs
• Recruit and onboard a minimum of 200 customers each month within the GT channel
• Deliver outstanding customer service consistently
• Address and resolve all customer queries promptly
• Inform customers once their accounts have been successfully opened
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and the Area Manager on all newly onboarded customers
• Oversee the customer handover process to Sales Representatives and Area Managers for smooth transitions
• Record and report reasons for unsuccessful recruitment efforts or customer rejections
• Foster and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers
• Guide customers through correct sales procedures and provide necessary support
• Monitor stock levels to ensure consistent availability
• Reduce stock returns by maintaining order accuracy and quality
• Keep product facings neat, organized, and fully stocked
• Track and report sales by outlet and product category
• Apply agreed-upon pricing strategies accurately
• Check and maintain compliance with fridge display standards
