Programme Overview
Power Construction is offering an internship opportunity for unemployed South African graduates seeking work-integrated learning (WIL) to complete their qualifications in Office Administration, Human Resources, Business Management, or Financial Management. This internship provides hands-on experience in administrative and HR functions within a leading construction company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general office administration tasks
- Support HR functions, including maintaining employee records and assisting with recruitment processes
- Prepare and manage HR documentation
- Handle communication with internal teams and external partners
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide clerical support for management teams
Minimum Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Studying or qualified in one of the following fields:
- Office Administration
- Management Assistant (N4–N6)
- Business Management (N4–N6)
- Human Resource Management (N6/NCV)
- Financial Management (N6)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills in English (written & spoken)
- Must require the internship to fulfill WIL component for graduation
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
Added Advantages
- Prior clerical or administrative experience
- Applicants residing within a 20–30 km radius of Blackheath will be given preference
