Role Overview
As a General Worker at AECI, you’ll contribute to daily operations by assisting with physical tasks, supporting teams, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role is essential for keeping the plant or facility running smoothly.
Key Duties
- Assist with loading and offloading of materials
- Move items using trolleys, carts, or pallet jacks
- Keep work and storage areas clean and tidy
- Perform routine general maintenance (e.g., sweeping, painting, signage)
- Prepare materials needed for production processes
- Follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment
- Support the team during downtime, maintenance, or shutdowns
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent; Grade 12 is preferred
- Good physical health and stamina
- Ability to follow instructions and work consistently
- Willingness to work various shifts, including night, weekend, or overtime as required
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
