Gijima System Support Learnership

Gijima is offering a 12-month System Support Learnership for 15 unemployed South African youth (ages 18–35), specifically in the Gauteng region. The programme is registered at NQF Level 5 and aims to develop IT skills that lead to national qualifications and workplace placement.

What the Learnership Includes

  • Theory and practical training in IT system support
  • Development of skills in network management, hardware troubleshooting, desktop support, and software installation
  • Placement in public or private organisations upon completion
  • Guidance and mentorship during practical workplace experience

Who Should Apply

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizen, aged 18–35
  • Unemployed and not participating in another internship or learnership
  • Grade 12 complete, with foundation in English and Mathematics
  • Basic computer proficiency (must know how to use a PC)
  • No criminal record or significant credit issues
  • Residing in Gauteng
  • Commitment to completing the full 12-month programme
