Role Overview
The Sales & Service Consultant will play a vital role in expanding financial inclusion through hands-on engagement with customers, assisting them in migrating to digital channels and maintaining accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance with financial regulations while achieving service and sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Educate customers and drive the adoption of digital financial services
- Manage account opening, servicing, and issue resolution
- Complete regulatory checks (FICA, POPI, NCR) during every transaction
- Meet agreed sales targets and work to retain customers
- Uphold compliance standards under FAIS regulations and internal policies
- Collect customer feedback to improve service delivery
- Behave ethically and uphold the “Treating Customers Fairly” principles
Required Competencies
- Completed NQF Level 4; NQF 5 or related business diploma preferred
- 1–2 years’ experience in financial services or a related field
- FAIS regulatory qualification required
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
