Purpose of the Role
As a team-oriented and approachable individual, your duties will include promoting sales, reducing stock losses, managing stock, assisting shoppers, handling payments at the till, and helping maintain a cost-effective operation. Key Responsibilities
On your shift, you’ll be responsible for:
- Creating a welcoming and secure shopping environment by following safety and security procedures.
- Operating the cash register in line with company procedures and maintaining a clean and organized store.
- Contributing to a cost-efficient and productive workplace while collaborating with fellow Dynamos.
- Providing excellent customer service, upselling, and ensuring customers leave satisfied.
- Responding to customer queries and informing them about current promotions and deals.
- Understanding product features and guiding customers in their purchase decisions.
- Greeting customers promptly and offering assistance.
- Meeting sales targets and staying informed on the latest product updates.
- Assisting with stock orders, displays, and overall store presentation.
- Unpacking, organizing, and managing incoming stock deliveries.
- Processing accurate payments and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Keeping updated on product features and stor
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A Matric certificate.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following: cashier, customer service, sales, general worker, store assistant, or retail.
- Basic proficiency in English.
- Residency within a 15 km radius of the job location.
- A clear criminal record.
