PepsiCo is providing X7 positions for applicants who are interested in becoming learners under the company and improve their professional working knowledge. Learners in the PepsiCo Sales Learnership get hands-on experience in areas such as sales and negotiation, promotion strategies, maximizing customer happiness, responding to customer complaints, working as part of a sales and marketing team, and compliance and legal concerns.

The applicants will first be put through a screening procedure, after which they will be enrolled in a structured learning program that will last for at least a year and will include both theoretical and practical learning based on their experiences in the workplace. Learners will have a solid knowledge of the basics of marketing and brand management upon successful completion of this learnership. ccepted learners will receive 139 credits from this programme.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Complete the 12-month Sales Learnership Program successfully
  • Reach the revenue and volume targets set in the Annual Operating Plan
  • Ensure a 100% customer call rate is consistently achieved
  • Attain a 90% strike rate on sales or customer engagements
  • Keep the stales threshold rate at or below 0.5%
  • Secure new business opportunities in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan
  • Manage both cash handling and stock control effectively
  • Pull and analyze performance reports to drive ongoing route improvements
  • Contribute to cost efficiency by operating the company vehicle responsibly
  • Follow all relevant functional and non-functional company policies and procedures, including those related to Sales and Health & Safety
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of company assets such as handheld devices, vehicles, uniforms, and mobile phones.
