Role Overview
Hollywoodbets is recruiting VIP Security Officers to ensure a safe, welcoming, and secure environment at their betting branches. You will play a dual role: delivering robust security measures while providing friendly, service-oriented guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive 15 minutes before branch opening and remain during closing procedures
- Conduct perimeter patrols inside and outside the premises, including parking areas
- Monitor for suspicious activity before, during, and after branch hours
- Perform floor walks once the branch opens to maintain order
- Ensure communication equipment (radios, panic buttons) are charged and functional
- Conduct gender-appropriate bag searches at entry points
- Direct foot and vehicle traffic to maintain smooth flow
- Assist with opening/closing routines, alarm tests, daily reporting, and stock handling
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure
- Address guest inquiries and resolve basic issues courteously
- Uphold strong guest-service standards (“service with a smile”)
Compliance & Conduct
- Wear full prescribed uniform with name badge
- Enforce security policies (no bags, weapons, under-18s, alcohol, or bets by uniformed officers)
- Remain alert and at your post; no phone use, sitting, eating, smoking, or taking tips
- Report any misconduct and use panic protocols if necessary
- Maintain professionalism and comply with shift rules, including shift rotations and reporting absences promptly
Requirements
- Registered with PSIRA (Grade C Security Certification)
- Minimum 1–2 years’ security experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid driver’s license is an advantage
